Liquid Handling
All liquid handling is done using robotic workstations
Currently,we use the Quadra96-325 with dual plate stackers (Tomtec)
The plate washing steps are done using a 96 well plate washer and reagent dispensor

Purification
PCR amplicons from the previous step are purified using magnetic beads
This technique was developed by Trevor Hawkins in
1995 and lends itself to automation
We are currently optimizing this protocol and will have a link soon.
